My Philosophy
I believe each of us must take responsibility for the world around us and for our own lives. And I believe that only we, as individuals, can determine what taking responsibility ultimately means.
My time as a social entrepreneur has completely altered my awareness of myself and the world, and taught me invaluable lessons. These include lessons about the nuts and bolts of founding, growing, scaling, and managing a social business, and deeper lessons about what it means to be alive on this earth as part of our community of human beings. In reflecting on these lessons, I’ve distilled them into ten basic principles.
