In 2012 I was selected a World Fellow by Yale University. I moved from Oaxaca, Mexico, to New Haven, Connecticut, where I spent three wonderful years—one as a World Fellow, and two as Social Entrepreneur in Residence at the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute. As a World Fellow I delivered several talks about my experience as a social entrepreneur; my talks were so popular among students and faculty that I was invited to stay on as Social Entrepreneur in Residence at the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute—where I remain to this day.
