In 2008, I had the great fortune to be selected a Fellow by the Ashoka Foundation, joining a worldwide community of fellows that now numbers 3000 in over 70 countries. Ashoka has done perhaps more than any other organization to promote social entrepreneurship around the world over the last the two decades, and I’m extremely proud to be part of it. In addition to participating in Ashoka events, I’ve also participated in the organization’s educational initiative, AshokaU, delivering talks at AshokaU at Brown University and the University of Maryland.
